"I moved to Oak Park in 2011, and my family used to play on the current site. I feel intimately connected with the area and its needs. We call the new building a flutterby sanctuary - it's named after what my children used to call butterflies. Here, the flutterbies are the children."

Gregory Klosowski

All finalists now have the opportunity to further develop their design, including details such as the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Finalists will present their completed designs to the jury, which will consist of select members from the original jury, as well as members from the Park District staff and Board of Commissioners. After private deliberation, a winner will be announced.
