Bilingual Story Time

1st Wednesday of Each Month

Enjoy a bilingual (English and Spanish) story time, songs, and finger puppet play led by our Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory volunteers. All caregivers and children must register to attend this free event.

Basic Jewelry Repair Workshops

Have a piece of jewelry that needs some simple mending? In this workshop, participants are welcome to bring in broken jewelry, and we'll help them repair the piece or creatively repurpose it! This is for basic repairs, such as reattaching clasps, replacing jump rings, or fixing minor damage. Please note that more advanced work—like stone setting or replacing missing gemstones should be attempted in Lapidary classes.

 

Fall Guys Team-Up Day 6/28

Join forces with other players as you navigate a seriesof thrilling Fall Guys mini-games. Work together to conquer obstacles and aim for victory as a team!

Orizomegami (paper folding and dyeing)

Orizomegami is the Japanese art of decorating papers by folding and dipping them into pools of natural dyes. By folding the paper in a variety of ways, patterns emerge which are reminiscent of stained windows and depending on the number and placement of the folds, you can create more complex patterns.
