Girls in STEM: Helen Martini and her Tiger Triplets

Helen Martini was the ultimate cat mom. She rescued baby tigers, lions, and more – in her own home! Learn the story of the first woman zookeeper at the Bronx Zoo, and the founder of their animal nursery. Join us for a story and a big cat craft, plus a look into life at a zoo in the 1950s.

In the US, women are 48% of the workforce but only 27% of the STEM careers. This family-friendly program explores a different science-loving lady each session through story, art, and more!

Registration is for one child with an adult. Adult must stay for the duration — this is not a drop-off program.

National Camera Day!

Celebration cameras with us by making a one-of-a-kind art piece with your cell phone or digitial camera! We have a photo printer on site and a variety of supplies will be available to create a unique piece in 2d or 3d! Come in with an idea or lean on our wonderful instructor and their expierence to help you create something just for you.

Indiana Dunes Day Trip

We’re spending our summer days with adventure on the brain! Join us for a trip to Indiana Dunes National Park for a day of hiking and picnicking among the dunes. Transportation provided. Meet at Fox Center.

Hikers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

We do not recommend swimming on this trip, as lifeguards are only present at one beach. Ripcurrents and large waves do occur in Lake Michigan and can make swimming dangerous.
