Active Adults

Attention NEW Members! Interested in a program that is currently full? Reach out to the Active Adult team for accommodations.

The Park District of Oak Park together with the Senior Citizens’ Center of Oak Park and River Forest (SCCOPRF) serve community members 50+ through active and creative programming that focus on social and cultural activities. Most Active Adult programming takes place Monday-Thursdays 9:00A-3:00P at Dole Center with some programming on Fridays/weekends, at different locations, and on trips once a month.

A variety of arts programming is available including paper arts, painting, lapidary art, ceramics, weaving, and stained glass. We also offer recreational programs in fitness, game days, educational classes, discussions, movies days, and book clubs.
