Open the first Saturday of every month, 10:00A-1:30P at Fox Center (624 S Oak Park Ave)

Toss it? No way! The Oak Park Repair Café meets the first Saturday of the month at Fox Center. Repair coaches will be available to help you fix anything from small appliances to torn clothing.

The Oak Park Repair Café is free and open to the public; since we started in 2013 we’ve kept over 700 items out of the landfill!

Given the increase in volume we request each guest bring one item for repair.

Thank you, and looking forward to seeing you there!

two girls wear bunny ears and hold their basket of eggs

The bunnies have awoken from their slumber and left beautiful eggs in Maple Park for your children to find! Children ages 3-10 are encouraged to bring baskets, bonnets, and bunny ears to participate in our annual scramble. Our Bunny will be on hand for pictures with the whole family, and we will have themed games before and after each dash.

This is a timed entry event, with dashes at 9:00A, 10:00A, and 11:00A.

This is a free event, but all participants must have a ticket to be admitted. Tickets will be available beginning March 1 at:

    • Candycopia (717 Lake Street)
    • Ridgeland Common (415 Lake Street)
    • Community Recreation Center (225 Madison Street)

Plus, bring your dog for the Doggy Egg Scramble, happening at 10:30A!

Bring your dog to Maple Park for the Doggy Egg Scramble. Dogs and owners will hunt through the field to find the most dog treat filled eggs. After the hunt, a special visitor will be available to take photos. This is an on-leash event for friendly dogs and their families; children must be accompanied by an adult. No tickets required for the Doggy Scramble.
