The History of S’mores – 9/19/2026

It’s autumn, the leaves are changing, we’re cooking over the fire, and we’re wondering -where did these delicious, marshmallowy treats come from, anyway? They're actually over 100 years old! We’re making our own s’mores today and learning the history of this campfire classic.

Indiana Dunes National Park Hiking Trip – 9/19/2026

We’re spending our autumn days with adventure on the brain! Join us for a trip to Indiana Dunes National Park for a day of hiking and picnicking.
Transportation provided. Meet at Fox Center.
 

Hikers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

 

Please note that lifeguards are not present on the beaches. Ripcurrents and large waves do occur in Lake Michigan and can make swimming dangerous.
