This family-friendly program explores a different science-loving lady each session through story, art, and more!

Elizabeth Friedman was a "cryptologist" – a codebreaker! She took down spies and gangsters all over the globe and saved thousands of lives in the process. Join us as we explore her work and crack a few codes of our own!

Have you ever wondered how a tiny seed becomes a giant tree? Put on your detective hat and help us crack the case of seed dispersal! We'll explore the amazing ways plants travel their seeds far and wide – using wind, water, animals, and even explosions!

Games with Friends- Scrabble

Fridays are for FUN. Sign up to join a lovely group of friends for an afternoon of competition. Scrabble- two to four players score points by placing tiles, each bearing a single letter, onto a game board divided into a 15×15 grid of squares. The tiles must form words that, in crossword fashion, read left to right in rows or downward in columns and are included in a standard dictionary or lexicon.

Dole Bridge Club

Join us for an afternoon of party bridge. Bridge has been the favorite card game to many notable Oak Park residents including Elizabeth Cheney (of Cheney Mansion). Join your fellow Bridge enthusiasts for an afternoon of card etiquette and serious gameplay in a relaxing environment. No partner needed.
