Calling all little explorers! Join us for stories, song, and adventures in a nature-themed story time. We’ll meet (stuffed) animals and discover the wonders of the wild!

Maple Syrup Magic

We're going through the process of making maple syrup – from tree to bottle and all the steps in between. And of course… tasting the finished products!

 

Please bring a snack, lunch, and reusable water bottle.

Monday Morning Nature Journaling

Immerse yourself in nature and learn to capture yourobservations through journaling. Explore drawing, writing, and mindfulness while you expand your skills as a naturalist and an observer of the outdoors. Even if you "can't draw", nature journaling is a great way to get in touch with the natural world and can be done in whatever style or technique works best for you!

All materials provided, including a journal at your first session. Children under the age of four do not need to register.

Women’s History Month Walk

Take a guided walk through Taylor Park and learn about the remarkable women who have shaped our natural spaces! This Women's History Month, we celebrate female conservationists whose dedication and passion have protected our environment, both near and far. Hot cocoa is provided to sip while you stroll.

Wildlife of Poland

Witamy! In honor of Casimir Pulaski Day on Monday, we’re taking a look at some of the wildlife that represents the home of over one million residents of Chicagoland! From the White-tailed Eagle to the European Bison, we’ll explore animals of all kinds and make our own coat of arms.

Registration is for one child with an adult. Adult must stay for the duration — this is not a drop-off program.
