This week we're learning to navigate using compasses and what to do if we don't have one handy.
Seed bombs are balls of seeds and substrate that you get to throw into your garden to plant them! Come make your own with native seeds and recycled paper as a great gift for the gardener in your life, or to take home for yourself! All materials provided.
Join us for an hour of animal fun! Each week we’ll learn about a different animal using games, art, animal artifacts (both real and replica), and more!
It's piping plover season! Join us as we celebrate that our favorite Chicago shoreline birds are back in the area, and learn the love story of the famous bird couple Monty and Rose!
This workshop is for children accompanied by an adult. Adults are expected to stay for the duration of the workshop – it is not a drop-off program.
Join us for a guided tour of our parks' natural areas. Learn about the plants you see growing, the different habitats in our parks, and ways we support our pollinators. You may also learn a little history about our parks!
