Our friends at Yak Shack recommend: Please don't use temporary hair colors, as it isn't as temporary in the helmet padding. River footwear should have an ankle/heel strap, and please wear your sunscreen!

The Park District recommends: Please pack your snack, lunch and water bottle, and dress appropriately for the water. We will be going into the river – while lifejackets are provided, knowing how to swim is important for your own safety.
