Safe Sitter: 7/18

Safe Sitter prepares teens for any situation they may encounter while babysitting, staying home alone, or supervising younger siblings. Through the updated curriculum, our certified instructors will help students develop their skills in safety, childcare, first aid, and business through engaging activities. Safe Sitter lessons will also show students how to manage behavioral issues and emergency situations! Participants will go home with a helpful handbook and a certification card.

 

A pizza lunch will be provided. 

Volo Bog Hiking Trip – 7/18/26

We’re spending our springtime days with adventure on the brain! Join us for a trip to Volo Bog State Natural Area for a day of hiking and picnicking.
Transportation provided. Meet at Fox Center. 

 

Hikers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Knight Armor Demonstration – 7/17/26

Travel back in time to Italy in the 14th century and see how knights wore their armor! Join Cavaliere Xander as he adorns and prepares his suit of transitional plate armor for battle. Both children and adults are welcome.

Soldering July 10-31

Guided by our skilled lapidary and jewelry-making instructor, you’ll learn essential soldering techniques to create beautiful, durable jewelry pieces. Each week, participants will work on a new project, completing a total of six unique creations by the end of the course. All supplies are provided; you are invited to bring your materials to personalize your work. Perfect for building confidence and skill in soldering while crafting one-of-a-kind pieces!

Ceramics Open Studio 1.5 Hours

Come on in to finish pieces you worked on in our other classes like Family Ceramics, Youth Ceramics, Beginners Ceramics, Beginners' Wheel, and Partner Ceramics
