Starting a Campfire – 8/22/2026

Let’s test those wilderness skills! We’re breaking out the fire pit so we can learn the safe way to start up a campfire. We’ll go through the differences between tinder, kindling, & fuel, how to build a fire for cooking on, and what we need on hand to put it out. S'mores included!

Dried Floral Arrangements

Create a beautiful, long-lasting floral arrangement using a variety of dried and preserved botanicals. In this hands-on class, participants will learn basic design principles, color balance, and arrangement techniques while working with seasonal dried flowers and natural elements. You’ll leave with a finished arrangement perfect for home décor or gifting, along with tips on caring for and styling dried florals. No experience necessary just bring your creativity. All materials are provided.

Knot Tying for Beginners – 8/22/26

 

Wait, is that a larks head or a bowline? Or is it a sheet bend? And what do all these knots for anyway? Join us in learning how to tie different knots, what they’re for, and how to use them on your next outdoor adventure.

Urban Safari – 8/22/26

What's wild in the city? More than you'd think! Urban areas have a lot of nature – join us as we put on our investigation glasses and scour the park for signs of life that we might not have noticed before, and explore the connections to wildlife that occur all around us.

Cupid Couple’s Archery – 8/21/26

Come join us for a couple's archery lesson! You and your partner will share a target, and our trained instructor will show you how to shoot a bow and arrow. Work together or compete for points in an adventurous and unique date night! No experience necessary!

Registration is for two people. Please register only one person in your pair.
