In this class, we will be flame painting on copper to create rainbow patina designs. We will then seal the finish with UV resin to keep it permanent. Also, we will learn how to make braised copper twisted wire bangles, rings, and more.
Snapology’s Amazing Animals introduces students to the technical world of robotics. Students will work in teams tocreate a zoo of interactive and mechanical animals. Your child will build robotic animals and explore different mechanisms such as tilt and motion sensors, motors, and computer software to help them bring their creation to life, all while having fun learning important social and technical skills.
This class offers students the opportunity to get a taste for scientific experimentation through a new hands-on science lab each week. We'll be going through the steps of the scientific method, including making hypotheses and data collection, as we explore the world around us. We're traveling back in time! Each month we'll learn about a different historic civilization and major accomplishments from that time period. These sessions differ from our previous classes, as you register for four weeks at a time. This is so we can cover broader topics and work on projects that carry over from class to class.
