Try-It Lapidary

Explore the art of stone cutting and polishing in this monthly hands-on introductory session!  You’ll learn the basics of shaping, grinding, and polishing stones to reveal their natural beauty.  Our skilled instructor will guide you through each step.  Using diamond grit grinding wheels to shape and polish a small stone.  Time permitting, we can even wire wrap or set the stone with a bail so it’s ready to wear.  Perfect for jewelry and rock lovers, and those interested in exploring the world of stonework.  Materials and safety gear are provided. 

March Creative Cooking (Afternoon)

Creative Cooking offers life skills and artwork all wrapped into one awesome class! A different theme and recipe (or two!) will be introduced in each workshop. While the food cooks, bakes, or simmers, our little chefs will enjoy additional art and/or games during those times. Each child will go home with their recipes to share with the entire family.

Lunch with the Dino is a thrilling family dining adventure that transports you to the prehistoric world of dinosaurs! Surround yourself with life-like dinosaur replicas and prehistoric décor.  Meet our paleontologist and learn the history of these prehistoric beasts and try your hand at taming our T-Rex! Families can enjoy a meal that's both delicious and educational.
