Chicago's professional women’s a cappella ensemble, La Caccina, opens its 15th Anniversary Season with Ladies' Home Journal, a concert that turns traditional ideas of femininity on their heads. Join the singers at Pleasant Home for an afternoon of music that celebrates feminine strength, resilience, and resourcefulness. Repertoire will span multiple styles and genres from Andrea Ramsey's moving "Letter from a Girl to the World" to Sister Sledge's groovy "We Are Family." Enjoy light refreshments and hear what the Chicago Tribune calls La Caccina's "pearly blend and pitch-perfect intonation" in one of Oak Park's acoustic and architectural gems.
