Building a strong community through inclusion and diversity is a pillar of the Park District of Oak Park.
The Park District stands in support of black and brown people who are suffering under racial inequity that divides our country and many communities. We are committed to taking positive actions that build more inclusive and supportive programs and places that help ensure the health and wellness of all our residents by providing all a place to belong.
The Park District supports the position of the National Recreation and Park Association’s response to systemic racism across the country.
