SC Johnson Factory Tour

This interesting campus hour and 30 minutes tour includes two Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings, the Administration Building and Research Tower, and ends in Fortaleza Hall, a newer building on campus featuring the Lily Pad Gift Shop, exhibits on SC Johnson’s 138-year history, and a special gallery dedicated to Frank Lloyd Wright’s furniture designs.

The tour involves a little under a mile of walking both inside and outside the buildings. All buildings on the tour are handicap accessible except for the Research Tower, which is only accessible via 45 steps in a spiral staircase. There is a room on the ground floor highlighting the exhibits seen inside the Tower offered as an alternative to this portion of the tour.
