The Park District of Oak Park falls under the Oak Park Public Health Department not the Cook County’s Public Health Department. We requested the Oak Park Public Health Department to consider the revised Cook County ordinance and we were informed that they would not be considering that option for Oak Park.

Skaters that skip levels or advance without our permission put themselves at risk of having a skill level well below their peers and pose a safety risk to themselves and others. We highly discourage skaters to advance without the necessary skills as they will be unprepared for the new challenges.
