Are non-swimmers required to pay to come to the pool?

Anyone who enters the facility is required to pay the entry fee. The pool offers a variety of non-aquatic amenities such as areas for sun tanning and grass areas. Even those not swimming must pay the admission.

Do I need a bathing suit to swim in the pool?

The Illinois Department of Public Health requires anyone in the water to have a lined bathing suit on at all times. Leotards, board shorts, athletic shorts, or underwear are not considered bathing suits.

Can I bring a cooler into the pool?

Coolers are limited in size to 11x9x8 inches (lunchbox size) and may be subject to search. Patrons with oversized coolers will be asked to leave them in their vehicles.

Alcohol is not permitted and there is no smoking on Park District of Oak Park property.

Can I bring food or beverages to the pool?

Food and drink are allowed on raised decks and grass areas only. Glass containers are strictly prohibited.

Is there a concession stand?

There is not a concession stand at either pool, however there are snack and drink machines. On select weekends local restaurants are invited out to the pools to provide food and snacks.
