How do I get a dog park pass?

Dog park passes are free for Oak Park residents! Non-residents can obtain a dog park pass for $20 for the first dog, and $10 for the second dog. See how to get a pass below, or visit our Dog Park Pass page.

  1. Submit an online application or send an application to info@pdop.org. Get the application here: Dog Park Application
  2. Provide proof of a valid Village dog license receipt if an Oak Park resident (including the tag number). This is not required for non-residents.
  3. Provide proof of vaccinations for the current year, including Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough/Bordetella, Para-influenza, and Parvovirus.
  4. Provide proof of a negative fecal test for intestinal parasites within the last year.

A refundable $10 deposit is required when you obtain your permit. Once approved, your access card will be mailed to you. Passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Dog owners not in compliance with dog park rules and requirements may be subject to fines and dismissal from dog park use.
