Beeswax Wraps Workshop

Ditch the Plastic, Embrace the Wrap! Join us for a fun and eco-friendly workshop where you'll learn to make your own reusable beeswax wraps! Perfect for replacing plastic cling wrap, these wraps are a sustainable way to store food. In this workshop, we'll guide you through the easy process to create colorful and functional wraps.

Each participant will leave the workshop with a set of your own customized wraps, ready to reduce your plastic footprint in the kitchen.

All materials are provided, but if you have cotton fabric you'd like to use you are welcome to bring your own.

Today we're learning about Rosalind Franklin, the real hero behind the discovery of DNA's structure! Join us as we explore her work from one side of the double helix to the other, and how she's finally getting the credit she deserves!

Fermentation Experiment – Homeschool Science 1/24

School is in session! Join us for a different hands-on experiment every week! We'll be going through the steps of the scientific method, including making hypotheses and data collection, as we explore the world around us. Experiments are designed to supplement lessons aligned with 4th-8th grade science standards. 

 

This week, we're exploring food and chemical reactions with a fermentation experiment!
