Bring your junior globetrotter – we’re traveling the world! Join us as we explore a different country every week and learning about its wildlife. Each week involves a story, craft, and game, plus a different stamp or sticker for your Tiny Traveler Passport!

This week, we're travelling to Japan, in Asia!

Monday Morning Nature Journaling

Immerse yourself in nature and learn to capture yourobservations through journaling. Explore drawing, writing, and mindfulness while you expand your skills as a naturalist and an observer of the outdoors. Even if you "can't draw", nature journaling is a great way to get in touch with the natural world and can be done in whatever style or technique works best for you!

All materials provided, including a journal at your first session. Children under the age of four do not need to register.

Electric Current Events

Explore how electricity works and buld your own elecric currents! We'll be making simple battery circuits and lighting lights to start, but moving on to creating our own combinations using Snap Circuits!

Hapa Zome Plant Printing

Literally translated to "leaf dye", Hapa Zome is the Japanese art of pounding plants with a hammer to color fabric! Come join us in learning all the ways plants are used as dye, and making our own plant prints! We'll have a smashing good time! All materials provided.

Arthropod Adventures – Insects

Join us for an hour of animal fun! Each week we’ll learn about a different animal using games, art, animal artifacts (both real and replica), and more!

Learn about the wonderful world of arthropods! We're discovering why some are called "insects" and going on a bug hunt.
