In this class, we will be flame painting on copper to create rainbow patina designs. We will then seal the finish with UV resin to keep it permanent. Also, we will learn how to make braised copper twisted wire bangles, rings, and more.
Curious about mosaics but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly Try-It Mosaics class invites participants to explore the vibrant world of mosaic art in a fun, relaxed setting. Learn the basics of design, tile selection, cutting, and arranging as you create a small decorative piece, perfect for displaying at home or giving as a handmade gift.
Orizomegami is the Japanese art of decorating papers by folding and dipping them into pools of natural dyes. By folding the paper in a variety of ways, patterns emerge which are reminiscent of stained windows, and depending on the number and placement of the folds, you can create more complex patterns.
