Owl Pellet Dissection

Did you know owls eat their prey whole? They can't digest the bones, so they spit them back up in a pellet – gross! We're going to investigate what owls eat by dissecting these (sterilized) pellets, and seeing what kind of skeleton we can uncover. Whatever bones you find, you get to take home!

Hay is for Horses

Join us for an hour of animal fun! Each week we’ll learn about a different animal using games, art, animal artifacts (both real and replica), and more!

Saddle up to learn all about horses, their adaptations, and their care.

 

This workshop is for children accompanied by an adult. Adults are expected to stay for the duration of the workshop – it is not a drop-off program.

The easiest and most fun type of printmaking is Gelli Plate printing!  You don't need to be able to draw!  Use objects such as flowers, feathers, clothing, buttons, and more to create beautiful patterns on paper!  All materials provided.

Try-It Printmaking

Explore the art of printmaking in our “Try It” Printmaking Class—perfect for beginners eager to get hands-on with this expressive medium! In this introductory workshop, you’ll learn basic printmaking techniques such as block printing, monoprinting, or linocut (specific methods may vary by class) and experiment with creating your own unique prints. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll discover how to carve, ink, and transfer your design onto paper, producing prints you can take home. This class is ideal for anyone curious about printmaking who wants a relaxed, no-pressure environment to try something new. All materials provided—just bring your creativity!
