July Storybook Nature Walks

Grab your strollers and wagons and join us for an early morning story walk around Scoville Park! With activities themed around shapes we can find in nature, these walks provide sensory experiences for kids and plenty of toddler-adult bonding time.

This month's theme is: Shapes

  • 7/12 – Triangles
  • 7/19 – Squares
  • 7/26 – Circles

This is an adult-tot class, and it is expected that an adult accompanies the registered child for the duration of the program. This is not a drop-off program.

Meeting Location: next to the playground, inside Scoville Park.

Telescope Talks: Exoplanetary Life with the JPL

Come join Mark Benson, our resident Solar System Ambassador, for a very special Telescope Nights! We'll be joined virtually by Dr. Morgan Cable – an astrobiologist from the Jet Propulsion Lab in California – who will tell us all about NASA's search for life on other planets. Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known – let's see what we can find!

This program is free and open to astronomy enthusiasts of all ages! Can't make it in person? We'll be streaming this talk on our Facebook page, so you can tune in virtually, too!
