In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basics of shaping, grinding, and polishing stones to reveal their natural beauty. Our skilled instructors will guide you through each step, using specialized equipment and techniques to create your small polished stone to take home. Perfect for hobbyists and anyone interested in exploring the world of stonework. All materials and safety gear are provided. Just bring your curiosity!
Go back in time with us and get crafty using classic art supplies like shrinky dinks, pipe cleaners, metal binder brads, oil pastels and much more! Your instructor will have some seasonal/holiday themed ideas for you to create great home and office decor.

Start your Sunday relaxing at Cheney Mansion with an all-levels, one-hour yoga practice on the grounds with one of the Park District's expert instructors. As a reward, enjoy and socialize with your fellow classmates during a lovely brunch on the patio. In the event of rain, yoga and brunch will take place inside Cheney Mansion. Delicious, yet healthy savories and just enough sweet not to make your feel guilty. Two drink tickets are included in your registration. Ages 21+
