Fridays are for FUN. Sign up to join a lovely group of friends for an afternoon of competition. Scrabble- two to four players score points by placing tiles, each bearing a single letter, onto a game board divided into a 15×15 grid of squares. The tiles must form words that, in crossword fashion, read left to right in rows or downward in columns and are included in a standard dictionary or lexicon.
Join us for an afternoon of party bridge. Bridge has been the favorite card game to many notable Oak Park residents including Elizabeth Cheney (of Cheney Mansion). Join your fellow Bridge enthusiasts for an afternoon of card etiquette and serious gameplay in a relaxing environment. No partner is needed. These are all one-day registrations.
Step out for hot nights of summer dance at Cheney Mansion. Join us in May and July for both instruction and open dancing on the patio at Cheney Mansion. Each month will be themed music and instruction from our PDOP expert dance instructors. You will work up an appetite, so we will have tasty appetizers and your registration includes 2 drink tickets. Non- alcoholic beverages will also be available. Ages 21+
Join us for a movie with friends at the Dole Center. Enjoy good company and a new feature film each week. Titles are listed on our registration software, Amilia (may be subject to change). Feel free to bring some snacks. After the film, stay for a friendly critique and discussion. These are all one-day registrations.
