Ratios – Garden Math 10/5/2026

Math is all around us! Using the “Math in the Garden” curriculum, we’re exploring mathematical concepts through plants, soil, and more. Topics covered include estimation, area & perimeter, angles, symmetry, and more. This class takes place entirely outdoors, except in inclement weather. Curriculum developed by KidsGardening, The University of California Botanical Garden, and the Lawrence Hall of Science.

In this class, we're using roots and stems of plants to learn about ratios, plus strengthen our number sense & estimation skills.
