Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do, an Olympic sport, is a two thousand year-old martial art, offering a variety of benefits for people of all ages and physical abilities. Students will improve their concentration and self-esteem, achieve lifelong physical fitness, and learn self-defense skills. Classes are taught under the direction of Grand MASTER Ki Hong Kim (9th Dan Kukkiwon World Tae Kwon Do Headquarters). Tae Kwon Do programs offered include:

Parent/Child Tae Kwon Do (Ages 7 & Up)

This class provides families with a fun opportunity to spend time together while improving physical and mental conditioning through cardiovascular drills, calisthenics, and traditional Taekwondo techniques including punching, kicking, and blocking. All level belts welcome in this class.

Adult Tae Kwon Do (High School Age & Up)

All Park District facilities will be OPEN today, Jan 23.
Preschool, Clubhouse Afterschool, and Teen Afterschool are CANCELED today, Jan 23.
