Andersen Park is undergoing an exciting transformation! Scroll for renovation updates and photos.
The following amenities will be incorporated into the park and playground:
- Playground features including crawl tunnel, balance beam, climbers, steppers
- Dinosaur fossil dig area
- Outdoor fitness equipment including ab crunch, leg lift, assisted row and push up, wheel and hand cycle
- Shade structure near splashpad
- Additional splashpad features
- Park entrance at northwest corner
- Synthetic turf replacement
- New pavers at existing entrance

Perimeter fence was installed, and the playground is reopened!
August
New playground equipment installed, plus natural play area features and new entrance.
July
New playground equipment getting installed.
May
Work continues quickly on curb forms. The team is waiting on some supplies to be shipped in.
April
Work is underway on splash pad grading and site utilities.
April
Fencing went up and excavation and demolition of the playground area and splash pad began.
