✎ Oak Park Resident Registration Open (NOT Enrolled in Summer 2022 Class)

August 6

See the below chart for details regarding which date your family is eligible to begin registration. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Some key things to prepare for Fall registration are:

The refund policy is as follows:

Refunds must be requested at least 48 hours prior to a program meeting for the first time in order to get a refund less a $10 service fee. If requesting a refund 48 hours prior to the second class meeting, it will be reduced by a $10 service fee plus the cost of the first class. No class refunds will be given less than 48 hours prior to the start of the second class.

If your desired class is full, add yourself to that class waitlist in the Amilia registration system. If a spot becomes available, you will receive an automated email giving you 48 hours to register for the open spot before the system moves to the next person on the waitlist.  If you know you don’t want the spot please help us speed up the process by declining.

 Q. If I am a Summer student am I guaranteed a spot in the Fall?

A. Taking a Summer class does not guarantee you a spot in the Fall but it does give you priority registration if you are a resident of Oak Park.

Q. What does priority registration mean?

A. Priority registration means registration is open for the following groups in the order below:

  • Oak Park Residents who are Summer students
  • All Oak Park Residents
  • All Non-Resident

Q. Do I have to register online?

A. Yes, no registration will be taken over the phone and, in person customer service at the GRC is limited.

Q. When does Fall registration end?

A. Online registration will continue until all spots are filled and as the weeks go by for open classes the system will prorate for classes that have already taken place reducing the fee so you are only paying for the remaining classes in the session.

A. November 1st 2022 is the cut-off date for all levels. Your child must be the minimum age by that date. This is a firm date.

Q. If I only registered for Gymnastics Camp can I get priority registration for Fall?

A. Yes, as long as you have registered for camp by July 18.

Q. If I only registered one of my children for the Summer, is that the only child that will get priority registration in the Fall?

A. No. Priority registration is by household account.  You will have priority registration for the Fall registration for all of your children.

Q. How do I know if my child is moving up for the Fall 2022 session?

A. If your child is in the Tots, Gym Kids 1, Gym Kids 2 or Gym Kids 3 classes and are age eligible to move up, the circled class on the other side of the form will be your indicator. If your child is in a Beginner class or higher and have met the skill requirements to move to the next level you will be notified by GRC Administrative Staff. If you are notified after registration has taken place we will move your child to the correct class level based on your preference of day and time before the fall session begins the week of August 22nd.
