Join Chef Tara Humphrey of the Global Peel as she explores culture through cooking. Your child will experience a hands-on cooking class with recipes and techniques from around the world. Your camper will investigate a new technique and culture each day:
Tuesday: Japanese Kaiseki,
Wednesday: Seafood Prep and Cooking,
Thursday: Pasta and Pastry,
Friday: The Almighty Cow and Pig on the grill and beyond.
Each day discover a broad range of flavors from several countries. Highlights this week will be Kaiseki, food presentation, working with whole fish, barbecue, and more. Learn history, eat lunch, and share our common story with your fellow students in the Cheney kitchen and dining room. Great food and life skills to carry forward. We are all family around food. Ages 12-16
