Cooking Around the World –Egypt

Join Chef Tara Humphrey of Global Peel for a culinary and cultural tour around the world through food. In April, let's fry falafel, dunk mahlab into dips like toum, ful, and roast dukka. We will also make Fattah, kafta, and bread budding.  

In May, Boricuan food for all! Let's make mofongo, Puerto Rican Rice, asapao de pollo, pasteles, and jibaritos. Yes, we know there is a Chicago connection to jibarito. We end our culinary year of discovery, like we began, in the heart of the Midwest. Bring along your favorite beverage to sip or Tara will send suggested menu pairings the week of each session. Ages 21+
